The droid know as Haytec is rumored to be a fully sentient anomaly and rumor speaks of him, or it, as having secret holdings deep in the Savage Marches. All spoken of encounters describe the entity as either cheerfully social or blatantly dismissive of organic civilized life. Often accompanied by an enigmatic woman named Vos'ayn, its apparent trade is genetic constructs, in realms where such things are important. He/it presents a potent anagathic that can seemingly halt the aging process, and rumors drift around of a process that can regenerate a person to a younger state and even replace lost limbs. How much of this is true or rumor is anyone's guess. But everything seems to indicate that the sentient droid has a shadow port of sorts deep in the Savage Marches.
